திருச்செந்தூர் முருகன் கோயில் கந்த சஷ்டி விழாவையொட்டி தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டத்திற்கு நவ.,18ம் தேதி உள்ளூர் விடுமுறை அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கந்த சஷ்டியின் முக்கிய நிகழ்வான சூரசம்ஹாரம் நவ.,18ம் தேதி நடைபெறவுள்ளதால் மாவட்டத்துக்கு உள்ளூர் விடுமுறை அறிவித்து மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர்  உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்

 A local holiday has been announced for Tuticorin district on November 18 on the occasion of Tiruchendur Murugan Temple Kanda Sashti festival. The District Collector has ordered to declare a local holiday for the district as Surasamharam, the main event of Kanda Shashti, will be held on November 18.
